your spec book.

Upload a specification book. Get a complete submittal register — every requirement, every page citation, organized by CSI division. Then track each item to closeout.

01General conditions

Every claim carries a citation. If we can’t verify it, we say so.

1.1

Verbatim, verified

Each extracted requirement quotes the book character-for-character and is checked against the page it names — deterministically, after the AI.

1.2

Quarantined, out loud

A quote we couldn’t locate never slips into your register. It lands in its own tray, labelled as unverified, waiting for your eyes.

1.3

You hold the verdict

AI suggests; a person confirms. The register records the human decision — with the AI’s reasoning kept as provenance, never as the ruling.

02Sequence of work

From a 900-page PDF to a working register

  1. STEP 1

    Upload the book

Drop in the spec PDF — scanned pages included. Plinta splits it by CSI section and reads every page, OCR where it has to.

  2. STEP 2

    Review with citations

Work a queue of suggested requirements, each with its quote and page number. Confirm or reject; duplicates are grouped so one obligation is one decision.

  3. STEP 3

    Track to closeout

Statuses, ball-in-court, due dates, revisions, transmittals — the full lifecycle, with an append-only audit trail and Excel export whenever you need it.

03Scope of supply

The register is the beginning, not the product

Compliance checking

Upload the manufacturer’s product data and Plinta checks it against the spec, quoting both sides of every finding. You rule on each one; the register rolls up your verdicts.

Addendum diffing

Upload Addendum 2 and see what changed — the base-book paragraph and the new language, side by side. Nothing is applied to your register without your confirmation, and the addendum is recorded as the cause.

External reviewer links

Send the architect a scoped link — no account needed. They see exactly the items you sent, their decision comes back as a suggestion, and every view is logged with time, IP and user agent.

Due-date digests

One email per person per day: what’s overdue, what’s due this week, across every project. Unassigned items never spam the whole org — they surface on the dashboard instead.

04Protection of work

Bid documents are competitive information

We treat them that way — and we publish what we do and don’t yet do, in plain language.

Read the security page
  • Row-level tenant isolation, enforced by the database and proven by an automated cross-tenant test suite on every change
  • Org-wide two-factor enforcement with a documented break-glass procedure
  • An append-only audit trail written in the same transaction as every change — including staff access, visible in your own project trail
  • Encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), including worker-to-database traffic

Execution
